A – Team development was founded unofficially in November, 2020. The initial formation of the company started with a group of young entrepreneurs with ties to the state of Connecticut. This group was initially formed to provide owner’s representation, financial analysis and deal structuring for ground – up, commercial real estate development projects in Hartford County (CT). Through their network, A –Team development has been successful in leveraging connections with the municipal government and private sponsors/ stakeholders to structure the capital stack and execute due diligence (via owner’s representation).

Through their persistence, knowledge of finance and special government relationships, in February 2022, the team was successfully able to assist with the Hartford Renaissance district project sponsors, earning $5,000,000 in municipal funds, for the project. In total, this project was two ground – up construction builds with 40,000+ gross buildable sq. ft for each building. The total project costs was approximately $33,000,000.

In March 2023 the team decided to officially form the company (A Team Development) and legitimize their status as upcoming developers in the state of Connecticut. Since, completing their work on the north end of Hartford, CT, the team has focused its efforts on the next set of projects. As 2023 ends, A – Team looks to close on the acquisition of two government owned lots for development.
